Swiss Open: Sameer Verma crowned champion; beats Jan O Jorgensen in finals
AFTER Parupalli Kashyap clinched his MS title in Austria, another men's singles shuttler Sameer Verma got his hands on the Swiss Open title.
Sameer trumped Jan O Jorgensen 21-15, 21-13 to clinch the title. The second seed Indian on his way to winning the title defeated Yu Igarashi (11-21, 21-18, 21-16), Kenta Momota (21-17, 21-16), Kantaphon Wangcharoen (21-14, 11-21, 21-12).
