Dubai Super Series Finals: Sindhu into SF after three wins; will face Chen Yufei next
PV SINDHU continued her winning run at the Dubai Super Series Finals as she defeated Akane Yamaguchi 21-9, 21-13.
The Indian had a comfortable and an easy outing against the Japanese, displaying her domination throughout. And without much trouble, she cruised into the semi-finals winning all three matches and topping the points table in her group.
In the semi-finals, Sindhu will next face Chen Yufei.
Meanwhile, it was a tough tournament for Kidambi Srikanth as he ended his campaign without a single win. In the final match against Shi Yuqi, he tried his best but it was a valiant effort from the Indian as the Chinese won 21-17, 19-21, 21-14.
