Chinese Taipei GPG: Krishna Priya & Siril Verma end their campaign
SHUTTLERS Sri Krishna Priya and Siril Verma ended their respective campaign in the women's and men's singles category.
Priya lost to Shuo Yun Sung 20-22, 13-21. The first game was closely contested as both shuttlers kept the scores in check. When it was levelled at 20-20, Shuo won the following two points to claim the first game. The second game was an easy encounter for the local shuttler.
On the other hand, 16th seed Siril lost to Lee Zii Jia 21-12, 21-16. It was an easy match for the Malaysian as Siril failed to put up a fight.
With their exit, Indian participation ends at the tournament.
