India will now take on Thailand in the quarters and the action begins in a while from on.
Second seeded Koreans dominated the tie as they won 4-1. The only win for India came from HS Prannoy who showed great grit and determination against World No. 4 Son Wan Ho, defeating him 24-22, 21-9.
Meanwhile, Ashwini Ponnappa/Sumeeth Reddy lost 17-21, 21-17, 17-21 to Yoo/Solgyu; great fight from young pair of Chirag Shetty/Satwik Sai Raj but went down against Jung Kim/Yeon Seong Yoo 15-21, 26-28; easy win for Sung Ji Hyun 21-8, 21-15 against Tanvi Lad and finally Ashwini/Sikki Reddy lost to Ye Na Chang/So Hee Lee 21-13, 21-19.
