Brendon McCullum, Nathu Singh ruled out for remainder of IPL

GUJARAT LIONS BATTING MAINSTAY Brendon McCullum has been ruled out for the remainder of IPL due to a hamstring injury.

McCullum, who had scored 320 runs in 11 matches at strike rate of 145, has been advised three-four weeks of intensive rehabilitation so as to not aggravate the damage in his hamstring. The Kiwi batsman had sustained the hamstring injury during the match against Delhi Daredevils on May 4.

Meanwhile, GL also lost the services of young pacer Nathu Singh. The 21-year-old had played just two games and had picked up a solitary wicket. He had suffered back spasms during the Lions’ home game against Kings XI Punjab.
