Proud to be a part of the current team that is set to leave a legacy in the next few years: Dinesh Karthik

INDIA WICKETKEEPER BATSMAN Dinesh Karthik has divulged that he is proud to be a part of the team led by Virat Kohli, which he believes is going to leave a legacy in the next few years. 

As reported by PTI, the Tamil Nadu-lad expressed his confidence in the side and stated that the present squad is likely to be seen as one of the greatest ever in the future. 

“The present team is very good. Bowlers (like Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar) are bowling fantastic. I am proud to be part of a team that is going to leave a legacy in the next few years as one of the greatest teams India has ever seen in terms of the players that have represented the country, which is led by a fantastic leader and has some seriously good senior players”.

Karthik heaped praise on Virat Kohli and added,

“He is very vibrant and very positive. He is always looking to win”.

Karthik, will make a return to the limited-overs side for the ODIs against New Zealand after having played in the series against West Indies in the Caribbean a few months ago, said that he is happy to be back.

“I feel very positive to be back in the side. I feel very confident and will try to give my best. The team set-up is very vibrant and there are good vibes in the dressing room. If I get the chance I have to make the most of it.”
