Anand Pawar clinches the Dutch International Series title

ANAND PAWAR was stepping on to the court for international competition after five months of injury break. And on his first return, he has been rewarded with the men's singles title at the Dutch International Series beating 2nd seed Kalle Koljonen 19-21, 21-15, 21-19.

The seventh seed Indian on his way to the final defeated Felix Burestedt 21-8, 21-13 (Sweden); Rasmus Messerschmidt (Denmark) 21-15, 21-18; 8th seed Iikka Heino (Finland) 21-11, 21-7.

It was a clinical performance from the Indian and this would definitely boost his confidence to do better in the future tournaments.
