Five NorthEast players that were big contributors to the team or did not shine at all

A HARD-FOUGHT SEASON FOR NorthEast as they could not make it to the semi-finals but showed heart till the last game. They reigned the top of the table at the start of the season but as the league went by the results did not work in their favour leading to downfall in mid season.

Things were looking bad as the end of the league drew near as they were second from the bottom of the table. At that juncture, they were winless games in 5 back-to-back games and the team had some what of a revival when they finally won after that winless streak. Then fought against all odds and overcame the challenge of Delhi who were in really good form, leading to the hopes that they could still make it across the finish line in the playoff race.

Some injuries to the likes of Subrata, Velez and Gustavo took a toll on their campaign. We share our pick of the players who gave it their all and those who did not put everything on the field for NorthEast this season.
