NorthEast United extend partnership with Meghalaya Tourism
NORTHEAST UNITED FC hs announced the extension of their partnership with Meghalaya Tourism as the Official Principal Partner for the next two years. This renewal solidifies a successful collaboration that began last year, emphasizing the strong and enduring bond between the club and Meghalaya, a medi release said.
Meghalaya, often referred to as the "Abode of the Clouds," is celebrated for its awe-inspiring landscapes and rich cultural tapestry. This partnership beautifully encapsulates the ethos of NorthEast United FC's motto, "8 States, 1 United." Just as Meghalaya's diverse landscapes and vibrant colours converge harmoniously, creating a tapestry of beauty, tranquillity, and progress, this collaboration reaffirms our shared commitment to unity. As the Official Principal Partner, Meghalaya's name and essence will proudly grace the front of the Highlanders' jerseys, symbolising the seamless fusion of on-field excellence and the captivating allure of this enchanting state, the release said.
Dr. Vijay Kumar, Commissioner and Secretary, Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Meghalaya, shared his enthusiasm on the renewed partnership, stating:
