Play-by-Play: ATK and Pune play out a goalless draw at Rabindra Sarobar

A RESTRAINED CONTEST saw Atletico de Kolkata and FC Pune City play out a goalless draw at the Rabindra Sarobar Stadium tonight. 

ATK, who had already secured a place in the semi-finals, fielded a team without some of their prominent players like Borja Fernandes and Helder Postiga. Iain Hume came on only for a cameo. Pune City, meanwhile, didn't feel up to the task at a game they had little to gain from.

A rather unimpressive goalless draw followed where neither team really managed to put the other team under real pressure, despite ATK starting as the better squad.

This draw means Atletico de Kolkata have finished on 20 points and can finish fourth unless the match between Kerala Blasters and NorthEast United ends in a draw. 

Pune City finished their campaign with 16 points from 14 games; a third straight time that they have finished below the top four.
