MUMBAI KEPT A CONSTANT PRESSURE coming onto Pune with multiple spells keeping the Pune defence on their toes. Though they the Mumbai team out but rather in a haphazard manner. Pune also had some moments of attacks but it never got the Mumbai defence under any pressure, MCFC calmly thwarting any danger.
It was a one man that denied Mumbai on two occasions both from Forlan. It was Edel Bete. He had stand out performance and takes the credit for keeping the clean sheet and Pune in the game. Then came a moment of error when Gomes spilled a catch and the ball fell straight at a waiting Lyngdoh who kept calm and finished it well to take home all four points for FC Pune City.
