Manjrekar questions Sania’s No.1 ranking status; gets reminded about common sense instead
INDIA’S TENNIS STAR Sania Mirza yesterday, completed 80 consecutive weeks as the No.1 player in the women’s doubles circuit. The Hyderabadi girl is known to celebrate her achievements on various social networking platforms, and once again the multiple doubles Grand Slam winner expressed her joy on twitter.

Following the tweet, former India cricketer and now a renowned commentator, Sanjay Manjrekar questioned the credibility of Sania’s tweet. Obviously, Sanjay was trying to be cheeky and would have liked to see Sania mentioning the keyword ‘doubles’ in her tweet.
No 1 doubles player you mean. Congrats! https://t.co/Qrdyigdrro

Not to shy away from any verbal spat, the 30-year-old responded with a hard-hitting tweet and also reminded the elder statesman about how common sense isn’t common after all.
Since I don't play singles anymore isn't that obvious/common sense?my bad,common sense is not that common after all I guess.. :) https://t.co/fXhnaQZEM7

But Sanjay stuck to his guns only for Sania to share another informative tweet.

It then appeared that Sanjay got what he wanted and chose to play the watchful game.
Yes, the article also says No. 1 doubles player in the world. Said what I had to, will leave all balls outside the off stump alone now 😊👋🏽 https://t.co/LP37fxYE0s
