IPL   /   Sunrisers Hyderabad   /

We have plans to stop the onslaught from AB & Virat, says SRH coach Tom Moody

THE SUNRISERS HYDERABAD will host the Royal Challengers Bangalore in a few hours from now. The hosts have won three out of six games and are placed fifth on the points table. On the other hand, the visitors have won two from five games and are languishing at seven.

SRH have suddenly found their winning combination right and have been extremely well led by dynamo David Warner. Hyderabad have also got arguably the best seam attack in the tournament. With the likes of Mustafizur Rahman, Ashish Nehra and Bhuvaneshwar Kumar in their line-up, the bowling certainly appears formidable.

However, for SRH to come out trumps tonight, they will need to stop the onslaught from AB De Villiers and Virat Kohli, who have been simply outstanding with the willow. Speaking on the subject, SRH coach Tom Moody told cricbuzz,

"Both are world-class players. We all know that both those players are very destructive on any given day, on any surface. It is important for us to break that partnership. And we will have our plans for going about doing that, but we just have to make sure that when those opportunities come we grab them.”

"They got away from us in that very first game in Bangalore, but that is one venue that is very hard to stop world-class players. Such a good surface there, but it's a different surface here and a different shaped ground. We have got a few ideas, hope they will work for us tomorrow.”

While SRH support staff might be busy making plans for AB and Virat, they will do well to realize that the big-hitting Jamaican Chris Gayle too will be featuring in the game.
