SUNRISERS HYDERABAD'S bowling duo, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Barinder Sran, bagged a total of 4 wickets and limited Mumbai Indians to a total of 142 for 6, at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium on Monday. The duo expressed their delight on their team’s maiden win after losing their initial two matches in an interview to iplt20.com.
Speaking about the bowling spell against Mumbai Indians, Bhuvneshwar said, focus on swing and bagging early wickets with the new ball helped them in executing their bowling plan. The seamer said that the victory has brought some relief to the team who were under pressure to perform at their home ground.The left arm pacer believes team’s skipper David Warner is a ‘bowlers-captain’ as he gives complete liberty to set up the field while bowling.
Barinder Sran too added that he was thrilled to bowl alongside Bhuvneshwar Kumar and take bowling tips from veteran pacer Ashish Nehra. When the duo were asked about an attribute they desired to have, from each other, Bhuvneshwar wished he had Sran’s height while Sran fancied Bhuvneshwar’s swing.
