Virat's ability to adapt throughout all formats is certainly something to admire: Kane Williamson

SUNRISERS HYDERABAD'S KANE WILLIAMSON on Sunday, in an interview with dna, spoke about New Zealand's WCT20 campaign, his fitness and admiration for Indian Test captain Virat Kohli's batting expertise.

When asked how he looks at the opposition captain, the New Zealand captain said,

“He's(Virat) a very good captain, and an extremely good, world-class cricketer. His ability to adapt throughout all formats is certainly something to admire. And, it's also something to learn from. He's very aggressive in his mind-set as a captain as well as a player. And, as you said, he just showed that in the World T20.”

Williamson, who is missing the IPL action due to a hamstring injury sustained during the WCT20, said he was glad to be touted as a future superstar of cricket alongside players like Kohli, Steve Smith and Joe Root.

Speaking on his fitness, Kane replied by saying that his recovery is on track and shall soon be declared fit to play in the cash-rich tournament.
