Nehra has hurt his groin, will be out for a couple of games: Warner

SUNRISERS HYDERABAD CAPTAIN DAVID WARNER has said that his ace bowler Ashish Nehra will be out for a couple of games due to a groin injury he suffered during the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

The prolific batsman, who’s fifty went in vain as Sunrisers Hyderabad lost by a 45 run margin, told PTI,

‘Nehra has hurt his groin. He will be out for a couple of games."

Nehra, who has been bowling with great rhythm lately was acquired in the IPL auction early this year. Yesterday's game against RCB was Nehra’s debut for Sunrisers. The veteran could not continue after bowling 2.1 overs as he succumbed to an injury.

However, Warner added that his side needed to look back at the positives to turn it around in the upcoming games.

“We have to look back and look at positives and turn it around. We have a good batting track at Hyderabad. We should not lose wickets in clumps.”
