Yuvraj’s a match-winner; sadly he will be out for a few weeks: Tom Moody

THE NINTH EDITION of the IPL is just a few days away and all the teams would be hoping for their top players to be in the best physical condition possible. However, there is a slight scare in the Sunrisers Hyderabad camp as the Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh continues to nurse an ankle injury. 

Speaking to IPLT20.com coach Tom Moody said, 

“A player like Yuvraj Singh is important to any team. He is not only a match-winner with the bat but he is a very useful bowler in those middle overs. Going into the auction, we were aware that we needed to strengthen our middle order. Hence we targeted players like Yuvraj." 

Moody further expressing his concern added, 

“With Yuvraj being injured at this stage, you don’t know what is around the corner - you need that depth in the squad. Sadly, Yuvraj will be out for a couple of weeks but we don’t know how long that is going to be."

Sunrisers Hyderabad shelled out 7 crores to sign all-rounder Yuvraj to strengthen the side’s middle order. The Southpaw sustained an ankle injury during the recently conducted WCT20.
