Happy to have great players in the squad, says Gujarat Lions' owner
KESHAV BANSAL owner of the Gujarat Lions franchise is happy to have experienced and talented players in his squad for its first IPL season.
As reported by PTI, Bansal said,
"We wanted to make a balanced team with experience and talent and I'm happy that we could manage to get the experienced and talented cricketers."
"We have a strong core team, we worked hard on structure draft that was submitted to the Indian Premier League (IPL) to pick up players and I am satisfied that I managed to get the players which I wanted in my team," Bansal added.
Bansal also expressed joy over the fact that great T20 players in Suresh Raina and Ravindra Jadeja would represent the Gujarat Lions.
"Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja, James Faulkner, Dwayne Bravo all are great players and have done well for their respective countries and I am happy that these players would play from Gujarat Lions," he concluded.
The Gujarat Lions play their opening IPL game on April 11 against the Kings XI Punjab at Mohali.
