Amanda Nunes

Amanda Nunes

Probably the most well-rounded fighter in the women's 135 lbs division, Nunes is carrying a lot of steam as she is on a 3-fight win streak against tough contenders such as Sara McMann and Valentina Schevchenko.

However, her win in the last fight against Valentina Schevchenko didn't result in an exciting fight and her performance wasn't nearly as dominant enough to warrant an immediate shot at the title. However, a win is a win and Nunes has to be in the forefront when it comes to the list of possible title contenders.

She is extremely precise and accurate with her striking and is among the very few female fighters to hold a legit blackbelt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. As displayed in her win over Sara McMann, she has a piston for a right hand and a dangerous top game. if Miesha has displayed any weaknesses, it probably has to be with her striking, which is pretty rudimentary and essentially a ruse to get into the clinch and grapple her opponent down.

A fight with Amanda is among the worst when it comes to styles for Tate, who though definitely possesses better cardio and is more resilient of the two.
