East Bengal stars on holiday to recuperate during I-League's international break

MULTIPLE EAST BENGAL players are going home on holiday as the club has allowed its players to take a few days off to rejuvenate during the international break.

With the obvious exceptions of Cavin Lobo, Arnab Mondal, Harmanjot Singh Khabra and Bikash Jairu who have been called up to the Indian national team camp, other East Bengal players are either looking to spend a few days away from training recuperating from the tiresome schedule, or continuing with light training at the club.

The Red and Golds' top striker, Ranti Martins, as well as defender Bello Rasaq are reportedly back in their homeland Nigeria to be with their families. Bernard Mendy also has gone off to Paris for a few days. Do Dong-hyun is most probably staying as he works hard to regain form and the confidence of the head coach Biswajit Bhattacharya.

East Bengal's I-League campaign will resume on 2nd April when they play arch-rivals Mohun Bagan at the Kanchanjungha Stadium in Siliguri. The team management wants every player to be in the best shape and fresh legs for that match as it can have a deep impact in the league's title race.
