Sandesh Jhingan (Kerala Blasters)

Sandesh Jhingan is the original ISL superstar. After quietly plying his trade at United Sikkim and Mumbai FC for a couple of seasons he rose to prominence with his performance for Kerala Blasters in the inaugural ISL. He even won the 'Emerging Player' award of the ISL 2014. He followed it up with a couple of good performances for the national team and playing a crucial part in saving Sporting Clube de Goa from relegation in the I-League. But as he returned to ISL after an injury-ridden summer, his performance was disappointing. Time and again he was caught letting his mark slip past and his ball distribution left a lot to be desired. It was a tough time for Kerala Blasters as the team suffered back to back defeats; and their star from last year did not put up an inspiring effort for their fans to rally behind or take inspiration from.
