Eight teams to participate in Pro Roll Ball league

MUMBAI: Eight teams from different parts of the country will be participating in the upcoming Pro Roll Ball league.

The teams will be from the cities of Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Indore, Delhi, Kolkata, and Goa and Kerala, said a media invite for the franchisee and logo launch. The launch would be followed by an auction today, the invite from Yuga Sports and Entertainment said.

Roll ball is a game played between two teams and is a unique combination of roller skates, basketball, handball, and throwball. It is played on "roller shoes" with each team consisting of twelve players, six on the field and six in reserve.

The event would have in attandance the core management team from Yuga, franchisee owners, and a few well-known sports personalities, the release added.

The season will feature eight dynamic teams representing major cities in India, including Pune, Mumbai, Goa, Kerala, Bangalore, Indore, Delhi and Kolkata.
