Cristiano Ronaldo's video game character downgraded by EA Sports

CRISTIANO RONALDO'S MOVE to the Saudi Pro League has worked out very well for him in real life, but that can't be said for his video game character.

At the EA FC 24 game, his rating has been downgraded from 88 to 86. The last time he had such a low score was 2004.

While that's still a good score for a character, gamers may not get the same advantage while playing with him.

As usual, the game trying to keep up with the perceived reality, but a virtual representation of the sport has no way to truly incorporate the nuances and constantly evolving state of a real footballer other than adding to or substracting from an imaginary score.
