According to an analytical report published by Hopper HQ, Kohli earns a staggering Rs 11.45 crore per Instagram post.
That sounds like a lot but he's not nearly the highest earning athlete on the platform. Globally, he's at number 14.
At the top of the chart are the two most popular footballers in the world: Cristiano Ronaldo (26.75 crore per post) and Lionel Messi (21.49 crore per post).
It seems social media has become one of the primary revenue sources for athletes worldwide and Indian cricketers are making the most of it too.
