Just when LSG had IPL fans abuzz with the appointment of T20 World Cup winning coach Justin Langer as their head coach, news emerged that Royal Challengers Bangalore are also in the market for a new gaffer.
Coach Sanjay Bangar and Director of Cricket Mike Hesson will not continue with Virat Kohli's IPL team, according to media reports.
The two have been at the helm in RCB for the last 5 years and have made a good impression on the franchise and its large fanbase. And although the team produced good performances under them, they were not able to break the ultimate goal the franchise is pursuing: winning the IPL for the very first time.
It remains to be seen who takes over these vital roles as Virat Kohli's quest for the world's most popular domestic cricket title continues in IPL 2024.
