Record 300 Million Euro bid: Kylian Mbappe could leave PSG for Saudi Pro League

THE SAUDI PRO LEAGUE lost out on Lionel Messi, but it seems they may get hold of the most prolific goal-scorer in the world.

Kylian Mbappe, who is at Paris Saint-Germain right now, may leave his club this summer for a record 300 million euro bid from Saudi club Al Hilal.

Interestingly, Mbappe is just 24, and not near the end of their prime like Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. He is the captain of the France national team, and is expected to play for his country for a long time.

A major roadblock for players to leave the big European leagues is the fear that a lower quality competition may be detrimental to their career. But if a global superstar like Mbappe makes the move, Saudi Pro League may separate itself from other Asian leagues in terms of reputation about its quality.

Recently, Cristiano Ronaldo, who plays for Al-Nassr FC, praised the quality of football in Saudi Pro League, saying it's better than Major League Soccer where Messi has just made his debut for Inter Miami.

Perhaps, as CR7 predicted, the floodgates have finally opened and top talent will leave European leagues in droves to practice their trade in richer shores.
