Dutch defender Kai Heerings signs for NEUFC after helping Dutch club gain promotion
DUTCH defender Kai Heerings joins NorthEast United FC in the Indian Super League.
Heerings has come up through the youth development schools of Ajax and FC Utrecht in the Netherlands. He went on to become professional and played for FC Utrecht in top division.

The 29-year old also played for SC Cambuur-Leeuwarden and Helmond Sport before trying out professional football in Austria. On return to the Netherlands, Kai, joined second division side Fortuna Sittard which was got achieved promotion to the Dutch top flight. Last season, Kai played for Fortuna Sittard in the UEFA Europa League as well.
