Asian Cup 2019: Four things India must fix before the U.A.E. game



NO ONE SAW IT COMING. India were seen as a contender going into their opening game at the Group Stage of Asian Cup 2019, and it was agreed that they had a chance to win. But no one knew it would come in this fashion.

Thailand were left puzzled by the aggressive and speedy play from India in the second half of the second game of Group A. Hosts U.A.E. played out a draw with Bahrain where the hosts looked favourite to win. India’s 1-4 win over Thailand has taken the Blue Tigers to lead Group A with a positive goal difference.

India play U.A.E. on January 10 in a bid to strengthen the lead at the top. TFG takes a look at the points where India need to be mindful ahead of the crucial encounter.
