Indian MMA: Gurdarshan Mangat gets Bantamweight title shot at Brave 9
Gurdarshan Mangat signed for the ninth edition of Brave Combat Federation where he will challenge Stephen Loman for the Bantamweight title.
Brave Combat Federation announced the second championship title fight scheduled to take place during the 2017 Brave International Combat Week. The fighters will compete at Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions for the Bantamweight Championship on November 17. Gurdarshan Mangat also became the first MMA fighter of Indian origin to compete for the Championship title of a global MMA promotion.
Gurdarshan Mangat has the largest fan following in India and among Sikh community in the United Kingdom and Canada after his victory over Indian featherweight fighter Abdul Muneer at Brave 5 hosted in Mumbai. Gurdarshan has 10 wins in his professional career and faced loss just once.

In his previous fight at the Brave Combat Federation, Loman has defeated none other than one of the sparring partners of Conor McGregor who is trained by John Kavanagh who also trains Conor McGregor at the SBG Gym.
