ON DAY 2 of the World Para Athletics Championships 2017, as many as six World records were broken. Though not a memorable day for the Indian Para Athletes but International Athletes were the one’s to look out for as the two legends of para-athletics shone yet again. Britain’s own Richard Whitehead & Tatyana McFadden of the United States won gold in their respective field events and class. In all the day was a great athletic performance and World Records.
Not a happy day for Indian hopefuls as the second day failed to fetch any medal for India. Day 3 will have Jaideep Deswal seen in the Men’s Discus Throw F-42 event and Rampal Chahar in Men’s High jump T-47 event to aim for a medal for India.
