Rampal Chahar believes in equal education for the differently-abled

THREE DAYS AFTER THE WORLD PARA ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIP kicked off in London, India have just one gold medal in their tally. One of the contenders for a medal is Rampal Chahar in the high jump (T-47) event.

28 year-old Rampal met with an accident at the age of four that required partial amputation of his right arm. In his interview with SportzDen, he speaks about his childhood and how he never felt different from others able-bodied kids around him. Rampal credits sports to have given him immense mental strength and kept him away from negative thoughts.

He also shares about the love shown at the ongoing London Para Athletics Championships. Talking on an important topic, he wishes that education must be made equal for the differently-abled. Chahar alos speaks about the facilities for para-sportspersons in India and what could be done better for the athletes to help win more medals for the country.
