Nothing like beating RCB and starting the season on a winning note: Nehra

SUNRISERS HYDERABAD paceman Ashish Nehra has divulged that his side is under no pressure going ahead into IPL 10 as the defending champions of the cash-rich league.

The India veteran feels that SRH squad has an added responsibility to emulate its performances from IPL 9. As reported by Deccanchronicle, Nehra said,

“People have been asking us, are you guys feeling the extra pressure? No, instead it’s more of a responsibility that we would like to win the Cup again by playing some good cricket.”

The 37-year-old wants the team to beat RCB in the opening game and set a tone for the season.

“It’s always good to begin on a winning note especially against a team like RCB which boost your confidence and the more you win in the earlier stage it’s better.”

Nehra lauded the performance of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and pointed out his ability to bowl well in the death overs.

“Bhuvi has come a long way. Initially people used to think of him only as a new ball bowler but he has shown what he can do during the death overs.”
