We need to be careful against a wounded RCB, says Tom Moody

WITH THE TEAM all set to face Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 10 opener, Sunrisers Hyderabad coach Tom Moody has reckoned that although the opponents have a depreciated side due to injuries, his side will have no room for complacency.

Despite having beaten RCB in the finals of IPL 9, Moody has stated that it will be a difficult match for the hosts. As reported by PTI, the SRH coach said,

“It’s going to be a difficult match for us, regardless of the fact that we beat them in the final, regardless of the fact that there are a number of injuries. At the end of the day, when you got 120 balls in a contest with bat and ball, it can be small margins, we have to make sure we get everything absolutely right on the night to make sure we secure a win.”

It is understood that the Hyderabad franchise will be playing without the services of Mustafizur Rahman for the initial phase of the cash-rich league. Moody further added that his team will to improve from where they concluded last season.

“In T20 cricket, regardless of whether you won or not last year you need to continue to evolve and constantly push yourself to improve and stay ahead of your opponents, hopefully, we will manage to do that.”
