Mohammed Shahid, President of Brave Combat Federation, has announced KHK MMA: Bahrain vs. India Amateur MMA Championship event for 12th January, 2017 at Bahrain.

India vs. Bahrain announced

The event is the latest move from KHK MMA in their movement to support athletes from India and the event is set to provide a platform for the Indian fighters to showcase their skills.

“The focus of the event is to guide and nurture the talent in a protected environment where the interests of the fighters are protected. At the moment there is no initiative as organized, funded and supportive as KHK MMA in the entire world. The grand vision of His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Hamad Al Khalifa encompasses cultural exchange and relationship building between India and Bahrain through the sport of Mixed Martial Arts. Our working relationship with future legends, world class training facilities and hall of famers is a testimony that reciprocates this vision. We would love to identify future prospects for Brave Combat Federation and guide them in the right direction. What we need to emphasize is that these projects are designed to fulfill a long term vision as a sustainable global MMA promotion”, said Mohammed Shahid, President of Brave Combat Federation.

Hari Bhagirath, Head of Marketing and Communications of Brave India told The Fan Garage that the final stage of the selection process is currently going on and noted that KHK MMA will be undertaking all the major expenses of the Indian fighters that are selected.

Brave had earlier announced their third fight night for February, 2017 in Curitiba, Brazil.
