Combat Carnival 2 to host big names

On December 10 and 11, Bengaluru prepares not only for the best amateur fighters in the country; this edition will also see attendance from world-renowned fighters and members of the combat sports fraternity.

Ivan Tomasetti will be present for the event

A very notable name, will be Ivan Tomasetti, an IBJJF world champion, 11 time IBJJF European champion and a dominant force in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, judo and sambo in the Italian national circuit. Extreme Fightwear, Ivan’s premium combat sports attire brand will also be one of the sponsors of this edition of the tournament.

The tournament will also see the presence of Guru Suraj, President of the WCK for India, Middle East and North Africa. Guru Suraj currently teaches Ashtanga Yudh, a culmination of ancient and modern martial arts that has seen the patronage of fighters like Abdul Muneer.

The event also hosts some interesting names

There will also be a notable figures coming in to support their own teams. Ajit Sigamani, a national council member in the Jiu-Jitsu International Federation and the International Sambo federation will be there to support his team, Combat Kinetics. Syam Prasad, ex-SFL Welterweight champion and head coach of Team Warriors, Calicut will also be there to support his team through the tournament.

The tournament will also see Rhys Dykes, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt and three times Pan Pacific champion. Dan Wimberly, a 4-stripe brown belt will be at the tournament and refereeing select fights at the tournament.
