TFG SmackDown Live Review: Lumberjack Match, Mickie James return
WWE MADE their last stop before Royal Rumble on Tuesday night. While SmackDown lagged heavily in terms of star power in comparison to Monday night Raw, it did have its moments here and there.
Mickie James returns
Mickie James was revealed as La Luchadora last week. While there were a lot of questions left to be answered, the picture got clearer this time around. Mickie teamed up with Alexa Bliss to deliver a beating to Becky Lynch. The introduction of Mickie into the feud helps to add more star power to the storyline.
The big match
John Cena and AJ Styles will face off against each other at the Royal Rumble for the WWE championship. WWE once again showcased a graceful booking for this feud as its build up was concluded perfectly. The big match feel is present and hopefully, we will get treated on Sunday night.
Rumble chaos
WWE gave a tease of the upcoming chaos on Sunday night with the Intercontinental championship match. The lumber jack match was won by Dean Ambrose, but it was the all around chaos that served the purpose of pushing the Rumble.
Below are the complete results from the show.
