TFG Raw Review: Goldberg returns, Last man standing match, confrontations

MONDAY NIGHT RAW rolled out its first episode of 2017 and it was a huge improvement from their last show of 2016. This week’s Raw hit all the right tones with the fans and had enough interesting segments in it to make the fans give positive responses.

Zayn and Strowman deliver a solid match

Sami Zayn and Braun Strowman faced off in a last man standing match and it proved to be a roller coaster ride of emotions for the fans. Zayn had his moments but it was Strowman that went out on top. His dominance was there to be seen but the way in which Zayn fought made him look good as well meaning that both superstars benefited from the match.

Bayley gets her title shot

Bayley went up against Nia Jax this week with a title shot at Charlotte on the line. Bayley seemed to be struggling against Nia but Sasha Banks came up with a timely distraction to let Bayley take the win. With the win, Bayley now has a shot at Charlotte whereas WWE will be free to build up the Nia – Sasha banks feud.

Goldberg and confrontations

Goldberg made his return to the WWE programming this week and teased some great confrontations. The way in which Roman Reigns and Goldberg stared down each other made a good portion of the fans mark out and when they combined together to take out Braun Strowman, it gave a big pop. With all the new additions, Royal Rumble is shaping up to be a great match and WWE did a great job of hyping it tonight. Below are the results from Raw.
