This youngster has been climbing up the ladder and performing really well at the International level. At the South Asian Games this year held in India, she defeated PV Sindhu to clinch Gold. That has definitely boosted her performance thereafter.

She won her first Grand Prix title in Russia beating local shuttler Evgeniya Kosetskaya in the finals. She ended her year on high too as she ended as runners-up at the India International Series losing to compatriot Rituparna Das.
