UFC 206 Results: Holloway crowned champion, Instant classics in the undercard

UFC 206 WILL GO DOWN into the books as one of the best cards of this year. While there were doubts at certain portions of the MMA community about the card, it completely stole the show.

Holloway is the new champion

Max Holloway got his taste of some UFC gold after he got the better of Anthony Pettis. Holloway, who extended his winning streak to 10 fights, became the new interim featherweight champion. He also called out Jose Aldo after the fight and said that he wants the fight in Brooklyn. Pettis, meanwhile said that he would be moving up to Lightweight due to problems with cutting weight.

Donald Cerrone came up with a highlight reel knockout when he defeated Matt Brown in the co-main event. Cerrone is now 4-0 in the Welterweight division and beating someone like Brown does give him a huge leverage in the division.

Doo Ho Choi and Cub Swanson produced arguably the fight of the year in a three round war. Both Swanson and Choi took some big shots throughout the fight and it was Swanson that came out with a win. The fight received rave responses in the social media as well. Meanwhile, Kelvin Gastelum and Emil Meek also got wins. Below are the complete results:
