UFC Albany results: Lewis continues His streak, Ngannou impresses,

THE FINAL STOP before UFC 206 unfolded at Albany last night. The fight night filled with some firecracker fights was a treat to watch and it had its fair share of winners and losers.

Derrick Lewis battled Shamil Abdurakhimov in the main event which turned upside down in a matter of minutes. Abdurakhimov seemed to be heading towards a solid win but in the fourth round, Lewis made a huge comeback to keep his winning streak intact. He has now five wins in a row which is the highest active streak in the Heavyweight division.

Elsewhere, in the co-main event, Francis Ngannou came up with a surprise kimura win over Anthony Hamilton. Though Ngannou was the favorite, the way in which he won the fight turned out to be a shocker and received praise. Corey Anderson secured a TKO win over Sean O’Connell when Gian Villante and Saparbek Safarov featured in the fight of the night.

Villante came out on top after two rounds and took home a needed win. The undercard also had some talking points. Justine Kish remained unbeaten after she got one over Ashley Yoder via a unanimous decision.

Shane Burgos and Marc Diakiese also impressed with their performances and all of these fighters will be worth looking out for in the coming months. Below are the results:
