Jon Jones reaches agreement with NSAC, eligible to fight in July

FORMER UFC LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION Jon Jones has reached an agreement with the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

Jon Jones will be eligible to fight in July

According to the agreement, he will serve the one year suspension which is same as ordered by U.S. Anti-Doping Agency for the UFC 200 drug test failure.

This means that Jones would be eligible to fight in July, 2017. Though Jones had expected a lesser time period, the panel came up with the conclusion that Jones did have faults from his side.

The one year suspension is however a relief considering that he could’ve been suspended for two year by either USADA or NSAC.
