Sara Mcmann vs Alexis Davis

Both women are former title challengers, having lost in ignominious fashion to the then-dominant champion Ronda Rousey in under a minute each. However, Davis rebounded with a loss soon after, before taking time off for maternity. McMann on the other hand has gone on to be 2-2 since her title fight, but is possibly a win or two away from another.

Both are extremely capable grapplers, but of very different types. While much has been documented about the wrestling credentials of McMann, Davis submitted veteran Sarah Kauffman in her last fight, taking her tally of wins by submission to 8. 

McMann has shown that she can take anyone down and keep dominant position, but Davis's strong jiujitsu game off her back is the perfect game to counter that style. While both of them have competent standup, Davis has shown to be more active when in the clinch. However, given her time away from the cage in the last two years, it is hard to determine what condition would she show up in.

McMann on her part has shown vulnerability, when on her back and at 36 years old hasn't shown the kind of evolution one would expect off a Olympic-calibre athlete such as her.
