Daniel Cormier out of UFC 206 due to injury

UFC 206 HAS TAKEN A MAJOR HIT after reigning Light Heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier is forced to withdraw from the pay-per-view due to injury.

Cormier was supposed to face Anthony Johnson for the championship in the main event and UFC is currently in works to find out an opponent for Johnson. Earlier this week, Tim Kennedy vs. Rashad Evans fight was also called off from the UFC 206 card after Evans was not cleared by the Ontario Athletic Commission.

Anthony Pettis vs. Max Holloway is the current co-main event and it would be interesting to see whether UFC comes up with an entirely different main event or promote any of the already booked fights.
