NorthEast United FC v/s FC Pune City

The Highlanders' current run of being winless in their last six games is the worst of all teams in this edition of ISL. But being the team with one game more than the others gives them a slight edge to plan a good approach to this game.

FC Pune City has upset stronger looking sides like Mumbai and ATK lately, and this could prove to be crucial in the upcoming game. Most of the wins that Pune have got have been with small margins. The difference lies in the fact that Pune have converted all or most chances they have got in their games.

NEUFC, on the other hand, have created plenty of chances but have been unable to finish well. But NEUFC have looked more threatening even in the losses they suffered. Romaric plays an important role in distributing to Velez and Alfaro and also holding the midfield together. The combination of Katsumi, Velez, Alfaro and Romaric will be the key to a NorthEast win. Pune have had trouble keeping control of their rash fouls. Giving away free kicks to NorthEast with the likes of Katzumi is the home side could prove costly to Pune. We see a full-bench NorthEast getting their act together at home to end their poor winless run.
