UFC Belfast Results: Gegard Mousasi stops Uriah Hall in the first round

UFC BELFAST proved to be a stage for Gegard Mousasi’s revenge as he defeated Uriah Hall in the first round via a TKO. Mousasi managed to press Hall up against the cage in the first round itself and landed a string of ground strikes before the referee called for a stoppage.

Mousasi came into the fighter after his dominating showdown with Vitor Belfort last month and after his showing in Belfast, Mousasi has stamped his place as a major contender in the division. As for Hall, this is his third loss in a row and would be desperate for a win.

Elsewhere, Steven Ray secured a win against Ross Pearson in the co-main event via split decision. Conor McGregor’s team mate, Artem Lobov also went home with a win.
