Mumbai Indians appoint Mahela Jayawardene as their head coach for IPL 2017
LEADING IPL franchise Mumbai Indians, today appointed former Sri Lankan skipper Mahela Jayawardena as their head coach for the next season of the Premier League.

The Lankan great will replace former Aussie captain Ricky Ponting, who guided the marquee franchise to glory in 2015.
Currently, Ponting is in the race to become Australia’s T20 coach and is also keen on getting closer to cricket administration Down Under.
