ROHIT SHARMA'S LIFE has had an eventful 24 hours - from being nominated for the Arjuna award to his dismal batting performance in Sri Lanka. Just yesterday, the 28-year old Indian batsman was recommended for the coveted award by the selection panel. Today, he's already being criticised for his batting at Galle. Is there another cricketer who's equally admired and trolled on the internet? The twitterati love trolling him, and how!
Rohit Sharma was recommended for Arjuna award. Somehow feeling bad for Arjuna.

Rohit Sharma nominated for Arjuna Award. If Arjuna were alive today, he would look at the reflection of the wooden fish & shoot his own eye.

While there was enough hullabaloo about Rohit's promotion at No.3 in Tests, another piece of news made the day even more interesting. The Mumbai Indians skipper has bought a plush Rs. 30-crore flat in the Worli area of South Mumbai. This exotic 4-BHK flat offers a stunning 270 degree view of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link and is located on the 29th floor of the 53-storeyed Ahuja Towers. Giving further confirmation on the deal, a spokesperson at Ahuja Towers told Mid-Day,
"It's a pleasure to have India's cricket icon as one of our star residents.”
And the internet was at its very best, yet again!
You gotta respect Rohit Sharma. If for nothing else, for that 30 crore flat at least. #INDvSL

Rohit has been in tremendous form in ODI cricket and also led Mumbai Indians to win the 2015 IPL. He recently got engaged to long-time girlfiend and sports manager, Ritika Sajdeh.
Meanwhile, here's how the internet reacted to Rohit's promotion at No.3 and his immediate departure from the crease in the first innings:
Rohit could have played a much longer innings had he kept getting out to no balls, a few more by Kaushal. #INDvSL

Why does Rohit Sharma not score consistently? Why did Katappa kill Bahubali? #Same
