UFC 205 has already broken the MSG Gate record, says Dana White

THE NEW YORK DEBUT of UFC is making the headlines and the latest update suggest that UFC has broken the MSG Gate record already. The same was revealed by Dana White when he was interviewed on the World Series pre-game show.

The Boxing match between Lennox Lewis and Evander Holyfield which happened back in 1999 currently holds the gate record for a combat sports event with a gate of $13.5 Million.

UFC 205 will be headlined by the Lightweight title fight between Conor McGregor vs. Eddie Alvarez. It will also have two other title fights with Tyron Woodley going up against Stephen Thompson and  Joanna Jedrzejczyk fighting Karolina Kowalkiewicz.
