Michael Bisping now holds many records thanks to his win at UFC 204
UFC MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPION Michael Bisping successfully defended his title at UFC 204. Bisping defeated Dan Henderson via unanimous decision at the pay-per-view, and thanks to the win, he now holds a string of records as listed below.
- Most Number of Wins in UFC: Bisping has the most number of wins in UFC with 20. He has one win more than Georges St. Pierre who has 19 wins under his belt.
- Most number of wins in the Middleweight division: Bisping currently has 16 wins in the Middleweight division.
- By defending his title, he became the first fighter to win ‘The Ultimate Fighter’, UFC Championship and successfully defend it.
- Most number of significant strikes in UFC history: Bisping holds the record with a whopping figure of 1,533 significant strikes to his name. He is also the only fighter to land more than 100 significant strike in five separate fights.
- Second most fight time in the UFC: Bisping currently has a combined fight time of 5:48:20 which is only second to Frankie Edgar, who has a fight time of 6:02:49
