Krylov and Ellenberger impress

Krylov impresses, yet again

A big take away from the prelims was the win of Nikita Krylov. Krylov knocked out Ed Herman in the second round of their fight with a vicious head kick and once again proved that he is here for business. Krylov is currently on a five-fight winning streak after UFC 201 and he seemed to have improved from the last time he fought. Krylov was moving around faster and the sky is the limit for him right now.

Jake Ellenberger gets a lifeline

Jake Ellenberger, who was clearly on a downward spiral, got himself a lifeline after he destroyed Matt Brown. Brown, despite coming in as the favorite, was caught early by Ellenberger and the fight finished off with a TKO after just 1:46 into the first round. No one is going to argue against the toughness of Brown and this is why the win is so crucial for Ellenberger. He now has the momentum with him now and will be looking to build on this.
